Tired of waiting for leading roles that reflect his experience, Nicholas created his own opportunity by writing, directing, producing, and starring as 'Nick' in his debut feature, In Between. The film follows a husky gay man who must learn that being seen—and staying seen—can be its own kind of love story.

About Nicholas

Full Bio: Tired of waiting for leading roles that reflect his experience, queer actor and lifelong horror enthusiast Nicholas Molencupp created his own opportunity by writing, directing, producing, and starring in his debut feature film, In Between. As the co-founder of Closet Monster Films, his work transforms personal declarations into universal stories for anyone who has ever felt trapped between who they are and what the world expects. Building on this momentum, Nicholas is actively expanding the company's slate through original writing and discovering bold new scripts, and is currently in development on their next feature film.
